There was a time when you couldn't combine the words Spirituality and Humanism in the same sentence.

That's not the Amber Light way! Whether you believe in God or not, we all have the capacity to be spiritual in our own unique way. That means we don't have to abide by the divisions and categories of the past — how we give expression to that impulse, whether it's religious or secular in nature, doesn't really matter. What's more important is having an ideal that inspires us and gives us something to strive for.

Whether you prefer to call that ideal God, the laws of physics, the Void, the Plenum, the Great Intelligence, or Secular Ethics — it's all just a matter of semantics. Find your purpose, then offer that in service to others and the world at large. That makes you a spiritual humanist. Period.
